Atlantis Museum series
Through photography I strive to find an element of uniqueness in the mundane routine. Every shooting turns into a photohunt: studying daily life through shapes and colours, I suggest my own interpretation, sometimes in form of abstraction, for more accurate rendering of the emotional side of reality.
In my photo projects I investigate the process of how people interact with space. I’m stirred by the idea of a place which gives birth to utopias, illusions and chimeras. My projects look at the reality of those illusions and fantasies, projecting them into the modern environment. Who knows whether Atlantis ever existed? I’m stirred by the idea of a place which gives birth to utopias, illusions and chimeras. That mythic space, erased from the face of the earth because of the excessive pride of the people who inhabited it, could just have been a figment of imagination. For me, however, this is real.
