Photographer Guzmán from Slovakia is fascinated by the blend of the tangible changes on the human body whilst capturing invisible particles of the human soul.
In the Isolation series he collaborated with fashion designer Marie Szénásiová to experiment with the usage of materials to bring the narrative forward. ''Isolation as purity, uncontamination, sterility, no interference, absence of time and experiences. Isolation as cut off from society and the rest of the world or as barrier against penetration of anything to the outside world.''
The combination of neutral and light fabrics, give the isolation narrative an almost alienating experience. It could show that isolation does not per se needs to be a negative topic, as one is enclosed with the Self.
